Hack TJ

HackTJ is a student-run annual event that brings area high school students together to code their ideas into life. Student teams have 24 hours to develop and build a new application or program with awards being given for outstanding apps, innovation, and design. The event welcomes novice coders as well as more experienced programmers. Mentors (often TJ alum) are on-site to host workshops and offer guidance to HackTJ participants.

This year's HackTJ 6.0, due to be held in March at the Cvent HQ for the first time, was unfortunately cancelled until further notice. Nevertheless, you can find more information about the event and its organizers at hacktj.org. Want to learn more about prior year's winners? Visit https://hacktj2018.devpost.com/submissions. Thanks to its sponsors, HackTJ is a free event. If you are interested in becoming a HackTJ sponsor, please contact Miriam Lamoreaux at mlamoreaux@fcps.edu.
