HackTJ is a student-run annual event that brings area high school students together to code their ideas into life. Student teams have 24 hours to develop and build a new application or program with awards being given for outstanding apps, innovation, and design. The event welcomes novice coders as well as more experienced programmers. Mentors (often TJ alum) are on-site to host workshops and offer guidance to HackTJ participants.
Thanks to its sponsors, HackTJ is a free event. If you are interested in becoming a HackTJ sponsor, please contact Jane Ritt, STEM Outreach and Administrative Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year’s HackTJ will be held on March 10-11th at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. For more information or to register, please visit the HackTJ site.
