Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology isn't simply a high school. As an educational institution it is a microcosm of the world today. When it was founded 21 years ago, TJ was seen as the first line of defense in the emerging technology era. But today, as American students continue to lag behind those of other nations in the vitally important fields of science, math, engineering and technology skills, TJ increasingly is viewed as being part of the last line of defense in a global competitive era. Your gift to TJ, therefore, will help keep our community, our state -- even our nation -- strong and competitive.
In a broad sense, TJ welcomes opportunities that provide benefit to numerous students, promote real-world or local industry connections, involve creative or unique learning opportunities, and that help TJ continue to meet high accreditation standards.
The TJ research laboratories are in constant need of new equipment, curriculum resources, professional learning support and supplies. The Jefferson Partnership Fund strives to keep aware of the most pressing needs.
